The
Windows Phone 8 powered Nokia Lumia 920 has yet to be introduced by AT&T
even though the device is expected to be an exclusive for the carrier in the
United States. Even without the official word from AT&T, we have a strong
indication that the phone will be priced at $149.99 with a signed two year
contract. Back in October, Best Buy started to take pre-orders of the device
for $149.99 before the listing was removed. Auction site eBay also got into the
act together with Best Buy on a pre-sale of the Nokia Lumia 920 that had the
same $149.99 price. Both times, the off-contract price was listed at $599.
Nokia's
mobile web site happens to show a Live Tile that on a PC comes up static. Look
at it from your phone and the same tile shows the $149.99 two-year contract
pricing for the Nokia Lumia 920. You can check it out by clicking on the
sourcelink from a mobile phone.
The
Nokia Lumia 920 is certainly priced to sell. At $149.99, the phone includes
32GB of native storage and a free wireless charging pad. You can be sure that
quite a few of these phones will be found under the tree this year. AT&T is
expected to launch the handset on November 11th.
